No 5 BC in custom mode?
So I did a custom run in 4 BC (my current BC) to test out a build and ended up getting way further than I thought I would. I'm now at the Giant but I dont want to get my 5th BC in custom mode. Will I get it or should I just quite.

Clearly says you will get the cell and that it doesn't matter *AS LONG* as you don't have achievements locked. Seems like the correct answer to me? Although I thought they fixed it some time ago that you couldn't miss out on cell achievements anymore.

Just because the thread is very confusing - you were playing custom mode with achievements locked, you got the 5th cells from the giant and there was no achievement. Then you switched to normal mode, the 5th cell is still there and now you want the achievement? Is that right? Or are you still missing the 5th cell and it never dropped?

Anyway. Since this was all very recent there's a good chance you can roll back. Go to the game directory and the "save" folder. In it you should find automatic daily backups in zip files. Just unzip them and replace the current files to roll back a day or two before you got the 5th cell. If Steam Cloud is giving you trouble look at the sticky in the bugs forum for a step-by-step guide how to restore save files.
Alternatively keep playing. Once you have a a lot of hours on 5 BSC it should only take you 3-4 hours at most to get to 4 BSC Giant on a new save file. Your skill stays with you even on a fresh file.

You will get it. But there's no problem playing on custom mode if you don't have achievements locked..

Oh okay cool thanks :) I just personally prefer normal mode so I wouldnt want to get it in custom ode.

I just beat the Giant on normal mode, and I didn't get it...

Yeah the other guy was wrong. Anything you unlock in Custom stays unlocked in Normal.

I did already pick up the 5th BC in custom mode.

Okay thanks ill keep that in mind. I'm in 5 BC now so ill get the skill to get 4 BC quickly :)
