Architects Key?

At the edge of the graveyard theres a door that can be unlocked with the arcitechts key but idk where it is in the game. I'm assuming it'll relate to the Repository Of The Architects unused/todo level but im not sure.

Nope. It holds merchant categories. Look through the graveyard for hidden wall runes, one of them is a key instead of food or cash.

Exactly that. You choose between weapons or skill categories on shops, helping you to get what you're looking for.

For example, you can choose between melee, range or shields on weapons shops, and after choosing, only items of this category will be shown, and you can even reroll it :)

nice, thanks guys, the sad part is that i already broke 2 wall runes and none of them yielded the key. is there like a general area for this specific wall rune?

It can be all over the place in the underground part.

It’s always going to be in the area of the level that requires the regular key from the key door to get in. It’s usually in a wall on the vertical-downward climb right after entering that part of the level. If not there then it will be further down... take ur time u’ll find it.

underground part as in the big building in the middle of the biome that has the reaper statue inside?

That building is the entrance to that part.

[Failed Experiment]

Just to add to this, it's entirely possible for it to spawn from a breakable floor rune as well, not just the wall runes. I had 3 floor item secrets. So keep an eye on both the walls and the floor for the rune, it's easy to miss.
