You don't need to be lucky, you get the weapon you want almost 100% of the time in a weapon shop within 5 dice rolls. So in the end all you need to do is get the cursed sword on either the 2nd last or last level. The game has 24 melee weapons besides the starting sword, and you will see 18 of those with the dice, even if you have all 24 unlocked it's still a good chance.
As for my winning run that I finally managed to get it all last 3 shops were skill shops.
That's not possible, there are actually a precise amount of scrolls that will spawn after the update in each biome. The number also includes scrolls in hidden walls and cursed chests, they will replace natural scrolls, but the number of scrolls is still fixed.
I've edited the comment above with further detail on the shop chances. Also there is no such thing as "my bad RNG rolls" everyone has the same chance, you can't say your next rolls will be good nor bad based on your previous RNG.
As for shop rolls I had multiple weapon shop rolls that would never make a cursed sword appear at all. That's how RNG works. Someone will get it on their first try, someone will never roll it. Can't tell you how long has it been since I saw assassin dagger spawn at all.
It's not hard to pay attention to walls, the secret tiles are next to walkable tiles, you just have to move around while paying attention for glowing tiles on the walls, it's not going to be somewhere where you have to jump, only where you can stand to hit it. I myself don't like that the hidden scrolls take away the max scroll count though.
"you don't see any" well if you don't check the whole map for the "natural occuring scrolls" then you won't find them all either would you. You can't find them but you have the option to check for them and have them, it's not that they're gone without a way of obtaining them you know.
