Steam controller turbo fire
I have my weapons set up to the two triggers and my less used buttons to xyba (health, door, jump, dodge). Jump and dodge are also my back paddle buttons. It works great, but I wanted to implement rapid fire like some of the community presets.

I tried to set my triggers to do turbo (both soft and full press) but it doesn't work unless I set it to toggle. Toggling isn't great because I have to press again to deactivate the motion so it kinda defeats the purpose of hold to turbo. Plus I can't do other actions while it is active and those seconds while it is active can mean the difference between life and death.

When I set to hold to turbo without toggling, I can feel it thumping, but the guy won't do anything. He also doesn't do another attack if I set soft pull and hard pull to the trigger.

Anyone know of a way to get my trigger to go turbo?

You have option, as the button works as single tap, when pressed, released, what happens when you hold it. And you have option to use it as a switch as well, so with turbo enabled, you can press fire, and action will be performed till you press the button again.

I'm sure it's doable,as there is ton of option with controller configuration, some such insane one, I wonder what people can use it for.

What I figured out was that my configurations were being bypassed. On the config menu, I turned off all the trigger inputs. The game (which had trigger set to weapon) would still work and I would attack. For some reason it skips the trigger configs.

As proof of this concept I set the triggers to 1 and 2 in steam config. Soft pull is a single attack and full pull is turbo. Works like a charm. The only inconvenience is that the skill and weapon indicators change to keyboard when I attack.

So I guess this is a bug.

Well, I never used Steam controller, as I play with Dualshock4, and never tried config like that, but I'm pretty confident it may make some problems, as Dead Cells wasn't made with such settings in mind (it's just a button, 0/1, only sticks works analog), so not sure if I would such settings ffor triggers for example.
