Graveyard is b******t
I've wasted many runs going through the sewers and fighting conjunctivius just to get absolutely shredded by the insane amounts of poorly designed enemies in the graveyard. Many of these enemies are manageable on their own but when paired the other foes of the graveyard it just becomes a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of projectiles flying everywhere and your hp bar going down to zero instantly. Take for example the dreaded combo catcher + purulent zombie. If you aggro the catcher from off-screen and it hooks you in the purulent zombie will spawn it's circle of flies with a forcefield effectively trapping you into an instant game-over. The frustrating thing is that you CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AT ALL. If you try to escape - killed by the forcefield. If you try to stay and fight - destroyed by the catchers extremely high dps or it kicking you into the forcefield. It is even possible to get stunlocked by the catcher while the zombie slowly but surely removes your health. It's a death trap and there's nothing you can do except smash your keyboard. It also forces you to cheese them with a turret or ranged weapon as getting on the same level as them can quickly become fatal. Motion twin please fix this.

I agree that the Graveyard can be brutal and taking the enemies head on is a recipe for disaster. What I like to do is bait the enemies one or two at a time while my traps/turrets wait in ambush. I don't think that the Graveyard is unfair, it just needs a more tactical approach. If you don't like the Graveyard, then you'll certainly hate the Cavern.

Pretty much the easiest biome.

Easiest?

Please, stop claiming this is something that needs to be fixed. It's not. It's a difficult biome, which is now balanced by it's great rewards and possible path forwards.

Regarding the subject itself, it's really a deadly combo, even more if you're running something with low life pool (ie Tactics). However, it's not OP at all. It's manegable and after getting used to those guys together, a walk in the park.

The only problem there is the Protectors. Those can really be a pain in the ass, cause sometimes they'll spawn in the middle of a group and slow things down by a lot.

Basically this. If you aren't in 4/5BC, you can pick and choose your path fairly easily. Use whatever skills you have, especially if they're passive damage dealers like turrets. Take out the shielding enemies ASAP. Try to get behind the enemies so you can get the drop on them.

Graveyard's tough, but not extremely so.
Bruh you can crouch to evade that catcher's hook
Take your time, don't rush,
i usually use firebrands + flame granade+ wolf trap combo to kill them easily
Note: that combo also effective on cavern biome trust me

Always love when people blame enemies for their own errors.

Okay no need to be toxic, I just stated that a certain combination of enemies is radically harder than the other enemies of the biome. You don't need to automatically assume I'm some sort of noob. Just goes to show how much of a gatekeeper you are.

My advice: If you're doing 4BC or higher you should develop the knee jerk reaction of backing off and drawing melee mobs into isolated less claustrophobic platforms. It's hard to develop that knee jerk reaction after coming from the lower difficulties. It's even harder than memorizing parries, but it's essential.

Additional baiting advice if you use shields:

Inquisitors should be killed first and foremost. This means go to the furthest extents of all platforms without drawing melee mobs' attention and parry reflect all inquisitors out of existence. To do this you must scout. Go up and around structures, all the way to the end of structures, skipping large sections of mobs in the process. Parry reflect the inquisitors and get that problem out of the way.

Same with purulent zombies.

Good thing is that in 4BC and above, purulents teleport to you automatically. So for instance, in stilts stage you can climb over the outside of an entire shanty and easily bait out all the standing purulents and rid yourself of that annoyance.

I really hate the number of traps in the graveyard.
Catchers...
Slashers...
Cannibals...
Protectors...

On the plus side, it gets you on your toes for Cavern.

Ok thanks, just what I needed, some guy with a bloated ego flexing on me.

You're welcome (to take some cues on how to beat the enemy combos).
