Flammable Sword
I've tried to combo it with Fire Grenades but I'm not really getting the combo the sword hints at. Anyone figure it out?

Tried with the torch too but it doesnt seems to make a difference in the damage (whether i burn first or second)

I did, use flammable sword to hit them while they are burning, seems like you would want them oiled then burned, but its w/e I hit with the fire grenade then the sword and it was using crit numbers

I tried both the burn first and the sword first and didnt detect a real difference in damage thought ?

Same here, I think this sword if broken
There was an oil grenade in older versions of the game, maybe the whole oil mechanic is broken and will probaby come back at some point

Sounds like the swords flame damage is broken like the flamethrower turret, which has no damage and doesn't even get bonus effects or procs.

I'm used flamethrower turret and it's works, Worse than gorisontal turret, but still works. Maybe his have no dirrect damage (not sure that 0 damage is realy no damage or just incorrect discription), but his applies stacks of burn that kill enemies.

Flammable sword... I'm not noticed any benefits from any fire any combo at all.

I think the issue is how little the flame nade and turret does up front compared to the flame sword. Due to the random nature of upgrades and the raw power of the flame sword, most times it's not worth it to spend the extra half second to toss the either. If they lowered the damage and increased the range of the Flammable sword, it would be worth it to combo. Otherwise, most of the times you're better off just whacking them to death.

I dunno, I had a flamethrower turret level 3 or 4 I believe with a 100% damage to burning targets, only numbers I ever saw were paltry 30s when it hit enemies, NEVER triggering the bonus damage, there were no 60s or anything.

Oh good, so it isn't me. Yeah, this is broken. I'm not seeing this "massive" damage the text refers to. It could at least crit. Even then I think i'd still go for rapier or dual daggers

Broken right now, we wait for a fix. Hopefully they'll fix the "175% damage against burning" tooltip too which is confusing as all heck because it is actually for FROZEN mobs - 100% against burning is the normal burning affix and works properly.

The only time I got that, I noticed the Flammable Sword specifically had "deals +##% damage to burning targets."

But the thing is, it would make more sense for the oil status to boost the damage of fire, not the other way around.

Also, slightly off-topic, but is anyone else getting items with *multiple* stacks of "deals +##% damage to burning targets" on the same piece? The most bewildering of those was a Flame Grenade...and I'm assuming those damage numbers apply to the explosion, not the burn, which made those buffs overall useless.
