How do you regen after a roll ??

I noticed that sometimes you gain health after rolling and attacking or something??

Dead Cells uses a 'Rally' mechanic. If you've just gotten hit, you'll note your health doesn't disappear immediately, and there's an orange bar draining away. If you damage enemies while you still have that orange bar, you can regenerate up to the end of that orange bar.

Oh, so if I get hit and attack and enemy, I can regenerate? Does that enemy have to die?

Nope, you just have to deal damage. More damage = more regeneration. Getting a critical hit can completely fill up the bar, or at the very least, fill up most of it.

Also, you only regenerate HP with damage from weapons. Skills have no effect.

I am not sure , i think the rally work with skills but at a minimum amount of life recovery. I will check it soon ^^

Rally works 'mostly' only with weapons. The Death Orb skill also is crazy god for regen. But I don't know if there are other skills beside it that also work.

Interestingly enough rally does not work with "fire brands", which is a weapon.

Because it does not cause damage, not directly. It applies a DoT effect, but the weapon in itself does not cause damage.
