Bought a weapon from blueprint?

Hey i found a blueprint, bought the weapon with cells at the collector to unlock it, just wondering where i can find it now? says i get to keep it permenatly.
Is this only avialable when i come across the collector, and i need to purchase it from him every run or does the sword unlock as a perma thing at the start of every run like the base bow and shield does? cheers

It unlocks it for you to find in the game.
All weapons and skills are dropped randomly from enemies or randomly for sale in shops.

uh huh! i see. But it told me it was mine permanently? maybe i missunderstood the help text on this feature. Thanks!

By permanently they mean that blueprints stay unlocked across runs. You don't get an arsenal of all unlocked blueprints at the start of each run. You just have a permanent chance of encountering this weapon now.

The blueprint is yours permanently for you to add cells to to level it up so you get max bonus when you find it during gameplay. It doesn't make it appear straight away in the game other than when you put your first lot of points in. Every weapon is random all your doing with the blueprint is maxing the bonus that the weapon comes with

Okay thanks guys. Nice to know also that leveling then up with cells will drop the level'd up versions.

My problem with this, is that although I have the majority of blueprints, I only unlock the ones I want to get in the game, therefore getting the game to drop the weapon (since it's from a smaller pool of items)

The game still drops non BP weapons they also become part of the pool and yes early game it is probably better for more useful drops. In the end it all ends in the same place despite you channeling your weapon pool. Mixed in will be useless level 1 weps with no bonuses on. and knowing the way shops are they will fill them lol

Also, you need to unlock ♥♥♥♥ to unlock ♥♥♥♥ anyway. Say the Heatlh Potion upgrade rank 3 requires you to unlock a certain number of items before you can buy the upgrade. So that does prevent you selectively unlocking weapons you want, at least in the long run. Which is good.

Not sure about that one friend :( I don't think i've been to the "Fjord" yet? is that an area, and your saying the weapon drops in there have no bonus from the upgrading? that might be a bug or intended design for some reason

He means despite being in a high level area he found weapons that had no bonus modifiers attached.

Exactly. Just shouldn't happen. I mean even if it was in the cells I would still be ticked off. No weapon should have nothing onj it. Simply because we have levelled everything up to make sure that doesn't happen

I just want to express my disdain towards threads with titles like this one.
Just because the OP added a question mark at the end, thinking that it's now a question. Besides all kinds of grammar errors. And it's a friggin' EPIDEMIC that plagues the Steam forums. As for the topic, it's about something that the OP would've got the definite answer straight from his next run onwards. Something he was BOUND to find out for himself should he explored the game a bit further and give a chance to it to acutally prove what it promised before doubting it, but no, he though starting an actual thread about it in the forums is the right thing to do.
I hope I'm not invoking too much dislike of our fellows because of me voicing the above, but I'm probably not alone with concerns like this when encountering the 2343535463-th thread like this.

Let me say, i see what you're saying, some games i do play like that, zelda BOTW, i didn't google ♥♥♥♥ or ask anything about that game, i just played. I felt i had to. Which is a puzzle game with lots of hidden stuff ya know....This is a roguelike, its early access. And i billion other issues with your post i could bring up, but i can't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
This is the steam forums and people can post whatever the ♥♥♥♥ they want about whatever the ♥♥♥♥ game they purchased. This is called a comunity of gaming, not a reddit or youtube comment section.

That sounds like a bug then, since thats exactly why we level them up, to then only find the leveled up versions
