Even then, that doesn't look like an easy strategy... they're letting themselves get hit by tentacles a lot, and the fight probably would've ended sooner if they actually used the dual blades.

Also, you can tell it's pre-update because the Meatgrinder doesn't have the durability bar or translucent chain.

Yeah, that doesn't look easy to me, I'm pretty bad.

Only way I beat the watcher was with fire bomb/normal bomb, with them up around 8 (Every optional choice went into this stat). close to 800 health, I can't remember if that was 6 or 7, basically just found the stats or bought them from stores, barely anything into strength, I think it was at 3. And a 75% dmg reduction neck for projectiles - cause I suck at dodging all those little projectiles from him.

I have to say it was a meant to be run, cause typically when i stack everything into the special stats, i still usually end up pretty balanced. As in I will start only finding str/health upgrades. It would be nice if all of these gave you the choice of which one you wanted to enter them in...to let you make your own build.

that's cool and all but 2 things:

1) How do you know when to stop before you go all the way in to kill him? Because you can't see his health meter until you're all the way in the room with the door shut. But your description notes to NOT kill him this way before you're all the way in or the game will crash. So how do you do this and still avoid a crash by not accidentally killing him?

2) can you even still do this with the most recent version? has anyone tried it lately?
