2 mushroom boi Q's

im not into achievements but every once in awhile i tolerate them. so, this mushroom boi thing, i sacrificed him at the MOtB alter, got the Bound for Hell one and no boss fight, how to get Pact with the Devil?

2nd, when they say finish game without sacrificing him to get another achievement; when exactly do i have to have him by? 1st level or can I get him say in HPK right b4 the HotK and still get it?

I can't remember which is which, but one is you sacrifice Mushroom Boi, and the other is you sacrifice Mushroom Boi speficically at the altar. You can get both at the same time by sacrificing him at the altar.

You can get him in HPK. As long as you don't ever sacrifice him, you should get the achievement.

thanks for clarifying the 2nd Q, i was really curious about that one.

Tho, i read the same thing you said for #1 and sacrificing him at the altar only got me the 1 cheivo. And, b4 that i had already sacrificed him getting to the altar and nothing for that.

I'll try killing.. i mean sacrific him again at the altar and if that doesn't work i guess i'll try in the actual mama tick fight itself. if still nothing ill b back to ask again :/

You should have gotten both then. Hmm... Did you speak to the NPC at the altar before sacrificing him?

yup, several times... he was letting me in on the secret - sacrifices are need XD. then i did it, and bupkiss

still havent did all that sacrificing i was going to do totry to get it but once i do illlet you know if i finally get it. from what i read it sounded to me to like i should have gotten them both at once. so, i hope its not bugged... those generally take a while to get fixed.
