Can't install new dlc

When I go to the store to install the dlc and press the download button it just opens the game yet the game is telling me that I need to install the dlc.

i think its a bug but you already have it downloaded
you jsut gotta rfresh the page to confirm i guess

i just pressed the download button from the store page and when it started the game on its own, it was downloaded and ready to go

I seem to be having the same issue. When I start a run I can’t enter the new door (massive hole in the wall :)) When I click on the hole/entry it tells me the dlc is needed and then it gives me the option to “head to the store.” When I do go to the store the dlc is already downloaded and in my library?

I eventually managed to work around the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game. Such a bizarre bug.

I had the same issue in the Epic Games store. I tried to get the "Bad Seed" DLC. Epic Games tells me to click on "Manage DLC," but I don't even HAVE that button showing up. I had to come here to find out that y'all were having the same issue, too. It's been 335 days between you and today, and their DLC hasn't been fixed. They released some DLC AFTER these problems. Stop releasing new DLC and start fixing what you have, people! Oy vey!

It's working fine on Steam now, from what I've seen (well, Fatal Falls had a bit of a hiccup for a few hours, too). I'm betting this is more on the duct-tape-and-bubble-gum aspect of Epic Games Launcher. LOL

Edit: Dead Cells DOES have the DLC working now, I just checked. Everything else I said before still applies, though:

I'm glad to hear it works well on Steam now. I take back my insult to the developers; they didn't deserve it. I totally agree with you about Epic Games being "duct-tape-and-bubble-gum." I only bought the game on Epic Games because it was so darn cheap, and I highly expected many functions to be, well, dysfunctional. Steam has been around for, what, ten years? And Epic Games wants to compete with that legacy? Epic Games' help site doesn't help at all, and Steam has countless features more than Epic Games (Steam Link is friggin' awesome). Thanks for the update!
