Promenade Well?

Sometimes there's a well in Promenade of the Condemned that I can't seem to get in or ground pound to break (Yes, I have the ground pound rune).

Is there a way to interact with it? There seems to be a passage below it given the shape of the terrain.

I've dropped into it, but I can't really say I did anything special. I don't think it requires the rune, but I did have everything unlocked by the time I reached it.

I'd try to drop through as you would a normal platform.

can confirm, there is no need for any rune, just drop through it.

its not really worth it tho

You can get an item and some gold down there though.
