Which option will suit you better really depends on what you're used to more, all methods are good and adjustable further should you need to.
Yes, you can play with only keyboard.
PC leaves you with mouse cursor that dis-/reappers each time you enter a menu(unless you unplug it), but allows you to use mouse, keyboard and non-PS controllers.
PS$ doesn't have the cursor problem, but limits you to a Playstation gamepad.
I can't speak for performance(I don't own a PS4 and don't know your PC's specs) but both PS4 and your PC should run it vaseline-smooth.
I play with a controller on PC. You can literally plug your PS4 controller into the PC using the USB charging cable and it will work. Steam has built in support for the dualshock4 controller, there are other programs such as DS4windows that will let you use the controller universally in windows as if it were a natively supported device.
Thx for your feedback. I have bought it on PS4. No workshop.... but big TV and couch will do it ^^
You do realise you can easily put your Pc on your Tv with easy to set up software (or cable) and play from them , right ?
This is one of the very rare cases where it's actually pure preferrence what system you get it on if you already own both.
I assume even a weak console can run DC smooth enough.
If you want your couch comfort, don't care about mods and/or can't connect your pc to your TV, i don't see an issue with it.
But yeah to each their own.
It's weird tho' that there is no Workshop , I mean we now how console that provide Tv so... I guess it's a Valve problem (not wanting to give any access to steam on console?).
Yes I was aware of that. But that's not an option. In the 99.9% of the cases I would buy games on PC. But it's nice to have also a wonderful game like this on PS4. If I really want the workshop, I buy it a second time^^
