what does malaise infection do?
getting hit by one of those elite guys in high peak castle increases my "malaise" stat (whatever it actually says) with the orange bar above my health bar, what does this mean to me as a player?

Once you reach 10 stacks you die - so don't get hit by them too much. Those have no other negative effect on you until you actually reach that 10 stacks. This mechanic also occurs through entire Nightmare difficulty (4 boss stem cells).
