How to get a better weapon at start?

or atleast some other abilities? also is there no way to get specific unlocked equipments?

like i unlocked the blood sword but its just in a jar in the starting area and i have never been able to get it again.

Keep playing the game. You have to use souls to unlock more weapons, and the ability to pick a better weapon at the start. Be warned though, it will choose 3 at random, and the weapon you pick, you'll find outclassed by at least the second level most of the time.

Also, weapons are randomly spawned. Don't think just because you unlocked a weapon the game will be nice and just hand it to you on a later run. This game is NOT meant to be easy or nice to you.

Ah that kinda sucks, But being a Rouge game its fine be my :)
