Doors with circles
What are they, really?
You can knock on them, but nothing really happens.
Also, the circles on them appear in various numbers, does it mean something?

The number of circles above the doors is the required number of boss cells during your run that needs to be activated to unlock the door.

The circles will glow when the door is unlocked.

They contain certain loots and boni for the player.

The doors can have any of the following: shops, food shops, cursed chests, regular chests, 2 item 1 choice rooms, or a collection of cells. Also they can either spawn as small rooms with just the reward or they can be a mini dungeon with a handful of enemies. Finally the same doors in each zone will always spawn the same reward. Its also worth noting that the only way to get one of the games blueprints currently is by doing a 3 Cell run in order to access a passage that takes you from the Ramparts to the Watcher.

You'll discover them once you've beaten the final boss.
