What does the gold/yellow star icon mean next to an item stat?

When looking at weapon and items stats sometimes there is a gold or yellow star. What does the star mean?

I think it means it's a rare affix.

Star means that it is a more powerful affix, but except for specific exceptions, an item will only ever have one of those, no matter how many other affixes it can be generated with.

One time in beta i have item with two rare affix.

Thank you all. I was guessing as much, so its nice to know what stats are considered more rare and hopefully more powerful too.
