0 to 1 BC
Hello!

Im a little new to the game, so maybe it is how it supposed to be, but its the first time in my life that i see such an unbelievable spike in difficulty from normal (0 bc) to hard (1 bc).
Monstrous spike, do not even stand a slight chance passing even thru 1 - 2 levels.

:(

Oh yeah, there's a big jump from 0 to 1 BC. The new invisible dudes will really beat on you for a while. I'd highly recommend learning to parry as you get used to 1 BC, though you can learn how to roll through the throwers. It's still pretty tough.

Honestly, there a are a bunch of difficulty spikes through the difficulties, so hang there.

3 BC to 4 BC , that's a whole new menu :AceOfSkulls:

The worst for me was 3BC, to be honest. For some reason, the 4BC changes were definitely easier to get my head around. It just goes to show that we all hit our walls at different points. :)

Failed Expirements attack patterns change sometimes , with rampagers it was always the same.
Learn enemies' attack patterns and get dodge/parry timings right and you will be laughing at that difficulty playing even harder ones without too much sweat. You can still play earlier difficulties if you find them more fun.
Is that spike intended? Giving how 0BC was nerfed into oblivion couple updates ago, I guess yes. The former used to be harder and you entered 1BC better and therefore experienced less of a spike. Technically 0<BC also used to be a bit less punishing than now for a time after being first introduced, so it wasn't intended at first.

Yep, that's true; I played ranged with a shield, though, so they were incredibly easy. They're still pretty easy, in my experience, because you can bait a jump, dodge through, and (usually) get a hit or two in. Rampagers were also really predictable... so, like I said, we all have our walls.

tbh, you can deal with anything prior to 4bc with survival build necromancy and dead inside, and vengeance, try to play safe and build safe first untill you get a hang of it. that's how i used to beat 5 bc with lightning, too bad its now tactic only :D

Does "dead inside" raise my hp by 50% just once, or are my future HP upgrades 50% stronger as well?

It'll keep that 50% every time you get a scroll, too, so don't worry about it.
