Double jumps are a given in any platformer.
Its the presentation I have a problem with, not the functionality. It simply just doesn't look or feel right.
I guess i'll just have to get used to it, but I don't see why change it in the first place.
I was complaining that it looks stupid, not the ability itself. I was specifically referring to "anti-gravity" when you get the gravity boots in Ratchet & Clank.

I may have not mentioned that, sure, but it's aesthetic value in Dead Cells changes the momentum of the game for me, and it just looks lazy, almost as if the Prisoners legs were just rotated .
I mean, I'm always pinballing back and forth whenever wall climbing anyway. So I don't see the wallrunning too much at the end of the day. But the wallrun animation doesn't bother me regardless as is. But I also wouldn't be against the animation changing in the future either.
I'm fine either way really.
I won't dwell on it any longer. It was a bold move to completely change an animation of a form of movement after I'd imagine a lot of people got used to it. Most have adapted I reckon, but I sure as hell haven't.
