Numbered Doors?
While exploring the Promenade of the Condemned I found these doors that have circles on them that you can knock on. I've found three doors in the level with one circle, two cirlces, and three circles. I tried knocking on them in order but nothing happened. Anyone know what's up?

Keep playing. You'll find spherical objects that respond to these doors and it will be very obvious once you do.

Do you mean another rune?

Defeat the final boss and play on higher level of difficulty to have those doors unlocked. Usually they contain some extra chests or vendor or cells.
