What software was used to create the Character Sprites and Animations?
Hello @Typix. I was wondering what software you have used to create the 2D sprites and animations? Sometimes I think those are 3D sprites, which just look 2D, since the animations are so extremely smooth and the pixel behavior sometimes seem generated and not pixeled by hand (though I may be wrong here).

I'm creating a game of my own right now and still looking for a good way to create nice sprites with nice animations and I think Dead Cells is really amazing in that way. Would be great, if you could give me some information about this. Thanks alot.

There is a difference between frame animations and bone animations.
The dev doesn't do anything special. You can't do bone animations in photoshop.
