after you get the blueprints though (and especially after you get 85% gold retention) there is no reason to visit them.
So if a door were to close in 5 mintutes, it means 5 minutes from the start the game.
You can see your total time in the bottom right corner of the screen, and it will pause itself when you're in the checkpoint area.
There's no way to know initially, but it makes sense that they did it the way they did.
You can use the built-in timer to know exactly how much time you've spent, so that's quite convenient. When going for the ivy bomb, I always aimed for getting to the Pont Noir around the 8 minutes mark.
It might be interesting to have its rewards match those you would get for full exploration. That way you could choose between exploration and speedrunning without being penalized for your preference.
All other timed doors, or repeats of them, give you only gold.
Btw, those aren't the only blueprints that don't come from enemies: there's one if you backtrack and climb the wall at the start, and another above the start of the promenade.
