One can take pirated version of steam and 'enjoy' all the games for free (with few weeks delay).
Why not release games that were cracked already (i.e. few weeks/months after initial relase)?
Btw, some older Bethesda Titles (Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Elder Scrolls Oblivion) got released on GoG just today.
More Games Drm free is always a good thing.
Really hope Dead Cells will be there too.
Really hope it'll get there soon.
I'd buy this on GOG.
But, that wouldnt prevent me at all, to buy it a second time on GoG.
Yeah, I buy Steam games on sale if they're not available on GOG, or if they're from a few series (Atelier, Toukiden, Dynasty Warriors, Tales - minus Berseria, I boycott Denuvo games and won't pay more than free ninety-nine for anything with that in it) I really love and can grudgingly accpet Steam even without a big sale.
This would sell me a copy on GOG, next time I have some cash to spare, or on Steam when it's in one of those ridiculous sales where I can get it for just a few bucks.
Thanks to the Devs.
Already bought it and will dive right in.
Keep up the good work.
Just saw it pop up there.
Clicky clicky :)

I tried Dead Cells on Steam to see if I liked it. Played it for an hour and a half and refunded.I thought it was a good game but I prefer GOG so decided to wait to see if it would be released there. I signed the gog wish list for it and saw it pop up on GOG today and immediatly bought it. Thanks devs. :)
Dont get me wrong. I love Steam as a platform and Steams standard DRM is a much less invasive DRM than something like Securom. However the third party DRM like Denuvo is anoying...and I feel unnecessary. So far every Denuvo game has been hacked. I still buy Steam games on occasion for sales or for the odd indie Steam game..most of which opt out of Steam DRM.
PAMELA is a good example of one. But there are more. Another of Steams strong points are the community forums and Dev communication there.
What I love about gog are the stand alone DRM free installers...which are a nice feature. Steam DRM free games are good as well......but it is not quite the same set up as gog.
My attention has been devided between Steam and GOG for some time......but still appreciate what Steam did for gaming. PC games are much more accesable now then in the past.
I do find myself coming over to Steam to ask questions about my GOG games though, it's just so much more active here.
Of course that always results in some troll calling me a pirate because I don't have the "owned" tag by my name...
But then I've had Steam mods call me a pirate, with the owned tag by my name, when I was complaining about Denuvo (and their complete lack of disclosure at the time) in the game I bought.
It's almost like there's a recurring theme to my trolls, even thought the last time I pirated a game was in 2003 (and once I found out it worked on my laptop I was at Fred Meyer buying a boxed copy the next day) and I hadn't even been tempted to until a year after my most anticipated title of 2016 released with Denuvo, but I've even held off on that with nothing more than a monthly barrage of emails and social media messages to the publisher counting down how long it has been since their game was cracked and asking for them to patch it so I can finally buy the thing.
