Door Color, what do they mean?
What's the different colors of the doors mean?
I get that Red = Hardest (get gud mode), I think Blue = Boss Room, but I seen some people say Vile Sewers is more difficult than Convict's Promenade, but Vile Sewers door color is Green and Convict's is Yellow... (also I personally think Convict's is more difficult and that generally fits the color coding scheme I have working in my head so far.)

It may not be a color code per se.

The toxic sewers have glowing green goo everywhere and the door emits green light.
The ancient sewers have glowing yellow good everywhere and the door emits yellow light.
The charnel house is full of blood everywhere and the door emits red light.

I would guess that the colors are just for flavor and that there's no meaning behind those colors.

I also think the color is like the main color of the level you enter.

If you look to the sides of the door, you will notice a pair of colored banners with a symbol. The banners are a similar color to the light emitted by the door, which suggests that color is zone-specific rather than difficulty-specific.

I don't think it means harder, I think it means longer...Some areas are much longer than others. Therefore "hard" or more monsters in certain areas.

Probably this.

Toxic sewers is pretty green, so the door is green.
Ossuary is red, so the door is red.
Depths are violet, so the door is violet.

If it were a matter of difficulty, giving toxic sewers a healthy green would be misleading.

Toxic sewers is easy...the old sewer is a bit harder. Why people saying toxic sewers are hard???

not "hard" but "not worth it".

the difficulty in the sewers is kinda high, compared to the gains. you encounter tons of enemies, which are difficult to deal with, but do not drop good stuff.

Played a lot more, up to 8 hours logged now. Color of the door reall is just the the color of the level with a couple exceptions like the Convict's Promenade, the door on that one is yellow because it's outside and it's daytime.... That's all I got really.

Choosing between Vile Sewers and Convict's Promenade, I think the Sewers are easier, mostly because I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate those white teleporting mobs. Teleporting elites is one thing, but the base teleporting white mobs are a pain since they don't stun easy from being attacked like a lot of the other mobs.

At least they don't have a ranged attack, that and their teleport would give them such a retarded threat area... like my problem with Elites.

Teleporting? Sure, good idea really
Summons mini-skeletons? That's cool don't want them to be easy to combo.
Increase speed on anyeverthing? ummm, that's screwing with the our established sense of timing...
Elite's base creature model type is ranged? Wait. Stop.
It also evades by jumping backwards (archer)? Oh ♥♥♥♥ now the minis are absorbing almost all the damage I can throw and the damn thing evades almost as quickly and often as my dodge roll comes off cooldown. Either I evade the minis and his attacks or I get to set myself in a position to attack back. One or the other almost always.
Wide top to bottom threatened area? No seriously this is getting out of hand, what the ♥♥♥♥.
The Axe Thrower attack can hit 8-12 times per second? Okay, ♥♥♥♥ you just.. ♥♥♥♥ you./
