If you like Megaman Zero GBA games, you'll love this game.

The fluid, rolling, combat - slashing at enemies as you flow through their ranks like water. This game makes you feel like a badass.

One of the best things about Dead cells is the rogue-like element. It offers a TON of possibilities not only in level design, but also in the way you "build" your character (by investing "cells" which you lose upon death).

My one critique is I'm only able to sit down and play 3-4 runs (~1hr) before I lose interest and have to do something else. Part of it is that you need to be pretty focused while playing and I think it just tires me out a bit. Not that that's too bad of a thing.

I feel this game is great as it is, and it looks like there is lots of potential for improvement, upgrades, new systems, etc. You won't regret joining in the Beta.

Go for 20XX, it's even closer to Mega Man X/Zero.
