But if you can afford it and have the dwellers to run them, in terms of pure min-maxing it's preferable to convert Gardens and Water Purifiers to Nuka-Cola Bottlers. Unless you care about the look of the Vault, of course.
in exactly the same way it says "Assign dwellers here to gain agility" "Assign dwellers here to produce food" and yet it does not produce Nuka Cola! SO STUPID. As soon as I realized this, I just stopped playing because I was so disappointed. Fine, so don't produce Nuka coal. FINE. BUT DONT SAY IT DOES!
But... it DOES produce Nuka Cola's... just not very often cuz it's such a (random) small chance to get it. It 'should' actually tell you something to this effect--produce food + water WITH a small chance for Cola's.
There's a mod package on Nexus, that has a modlet in it, that can switch the Nuka Cola room to just produce cola's. Ofc, that's a bit OP but, you make of it what you will--play it your way.
