Question: What's the best type of armour to wear for quests or wasteland exploring?
I've got a question considering the appropriate clothing to wear for quest and wasteland exploration. I know it's essential to equip dwellers with the appropriate clothing that give the right perks when they're working in specific rooms in your vault, like giving dwellers working in power rooms clothes that give the strength perk, or giving dwellers working in food-related rooms clothes that give the agility perk. But what's the best type of clothing to wear for quests and wasteland exploration? I know that high luck plays an important part in collecting stuff in the wasteland, cause it increases your chance of collecting stuff, but are any of the other perks (strength, endurance, intelligence, charisma, agility and perception) important for quest and wasteland exploration?

For combat you want high agility - it increases your rate of fire.
Luck increases the rate of critical hits and perception makes the critical hit effect slower, but agility is your go-to.

When you are increasing the level of your dweller either in the vault or in the wasteland you want them in the highest +endurance gear you have, preferably with endurance trained to max as this determines hitpoints and is not retroactive.

For dwellers that are already max level or who you don't care about having max health then get to at least 11 total endurance combined from equipment and dweller stats (this will protect you from radiation in the wasteland) and then look for luck, charisma, agility, and/or perception in roughly that order.

For the quest teams, if you maxed them to 10/10 stats on everything, then put T60f Power Armor (E +5, S +1, P +1) on them and give them Dragon Maws for weapons, that's usually the best for those teams.
Dragon Maws are Str based weapons and have the highest damage, but you want the higher endurance bonus for when you have to fight Alpha DeathClaws and Alpha Green Rad Scorps, they have a crit hit that can take out most settlers in a single hit. So you want the extra endurance and protection the t60f gives.
Takes awhile to build up the teams, but once you get them setup that way, they work really well at the quests.
Just to add to what AT mentioned.
