Occasionally when dwellers are sent to explore, they will end up exploring for an infinite amount of time without accumulating items or experiencing events.[verified]
This is caused when a player advances the phone's timer ahead. After the amount of time that was jumped ahead passes, the explorers should start encountering creatures and collecting loot again. i went back to oct to try the Halloween missions and did a lot of days/hours skips with he computers timer does it really add up the time i have to wait before everything fixes itself?

There two ways but both are only doable on Android.

The 1st way require transfering your save to a PC and use this offline save editor ( https://robot9706.github.io/FSSE/ ) to fix time glitch, then send your fixed save to your phone. An extra step may be needed, see next.

The 2nd solution is to use this online save editor ( https://rakion99.github.io/shelter-editor/ ) and set their return time to 0. Note that on latest Android versions you can't directly replace your save, you have to save it without its extension on your phone save location and then rename it to add the extension.
