Missions are not counting... or are they?
There is an archievement that asks to complete 100 missions in order to archieve it. I got issues at 60-something because I lost Internet connection one day while playing. Since then the number increases randomly. Sometimes I complete f.e 10 missions and the number it stills the same, but after many missions and completing a mission it increases by a number.

Now I have completed 82 missions, or so does Steam says since I finished every "campaign" missions (the default ones) and now I'm completing weekly, daily and "blue" missions, but as I said, it just randomly counts. I don't want to create another vault since I have mine too optimized, with 2 legendary dwellers missing in order to get that archievement too and too much mission progress. Is there a way I can get those 18 remaining missions? :aushrug:

Update: just sent an email to Bethesda but they answered that they cannot solve the problem

it should count with that achievement as long as you didn't start a new game

I didn't. I'm sure those 82 missions are from the same vault. What I do not understand is why the hell despite completing many missions the number doesn't increase

You need 'Steam Overlay' enabled in game properties and maintain internet (steam in online mode) while playing. I'd strongly suggest un-ticking the box 'Cloud Sync' in game properties since that's likely to corrupt the save data... especially if you lose internet while playing. LOTS of ppl have had their saves corrupted due to that Cloud Sync. and that might even be what's bug'ing your Achiev.

I did that: Steam Overlay active, Cloud Sync unactive. Today I completed one of that blue missions and yet the number stills being the same :aushrug:

I do know that if you had restarted a new vault, the achievement starts over from 0... except Steam doesn't reset the achievement. So, it doesn't start counting again till you've caught back up to steams registered number for that achiev.

But, if that's not the case, you may want to right click the game in steam library choosing properties--local files--and do the 'verify files' option. If it found bad files.... that may have been the issue. If not, try resetting your Windows firewall. First, close out steam. Open Windows Firewall and do the reset to defaults. Now open steam and it should pop-up a notice for letting steam thru. Same may happen when launching game. Be sure to 'allow' them. Then test and see if the achiev is properly registering.

I just tried and it checked properly. What can I do?

Contact Steam support. If all the files validated--but, still not registering achiev progress--trying a uninstall / re-install might resolve it. But, if none of these things fixed it, steam support is your next option.

If I uninstall/install does the progress in that vault remain intact?

Yeah, steam doesn't actually delete folders on your system. So, 'normally' your user's folders stay in-tact and the vault save files will be there upon re-install of the game. Just to be safe though, it's a good idea to make a backup copy of your vault.sav files... which should be in;
C:\users\ *your user name* \Appdata\Local\Fallout Shelter\

This may be irrelevant, but it seems, in some games, stats may rely on being online, aka connected to Steam. At least I've experienced this in a game called Hardspace: Shipbreaker, where I binge played it for hours on end while offline, and when i logged in thinking I want to give a great review about it, and steam wouldnt let me cuz apparently, Steam showed I played for like 15min or something.

Yeah, you have to be in 'online' mode for Achiev's to register.... as well as total game time. I have quite a few games that only show I've played a few minutes or so... cuz I can play them in 'offline' mode--which doesn't count. Like Wizardry 8 for example--you don't even need the steam client running to play it once it's been installed. I have buku hours in it yet steam only shows several minutes.
