Here is a good starting point. They've given details on installing their mod (how to) and recommended a mod you'll want to start with (FOS mod installer) as well. When you follow their suggestions and look through the details for their mods....they usually give instructions on how to get them setup. Be sure to open the 'Requirements' drop down arrows in the main pages as those will need installed first.

The mod pack;
In the files tab is a section 'optional files.'
It has the mod installer tool.
Get that and use it for installing mods.
Note, some mods maybe need to manually drop their files into correct folders.
See their instructions in those cases.
