Is Endurance still useful after reaching the highest Level?
I've finished training some Stats (including Endurance to the Maximum) for my new Wasteland Explorer and now I wonder if Endurance is still useful in any Way after he reached Level 50 or if I can give him Clothes with other Stats after that

I have no clue what the actual number is for HP's on say a lvl 50 toon that has had Endurance maxed at an early level. But, let's say for example their max hp's are 200 and you outift them with an endurance boost. Their max HP would increase while wearing it....say to 220 for example if it were a good endurance bonus. Once you take that outfit off, it'll drop back to the 200. So, yeah...it can still be useful but, doesn't make near as much difference as when leveling up. It's more critical to get endurance as high as possilbe while leveling so the overall max HP's will be higher in the long run.

I haven't seen consensus on if you get a benefit beyond the max from clothes although recently I have read more assertions you do.

Overall if you train a new adult so they max endurance at level 1 or 2 if their gym keeps being visited by radscorpions ( Dear Valve I get why I get a spelling error in my word processor but here ? ) Clothing with endurance isn't going to help.

On a related note if you have a lot you might want you newly adult gym fiends in high endurance high agility clothing as I get way too attached if I keep long time dwellers who leveled up too much before there was a gym around to guard the level 1's .

Overall its a bit of a maybe if other players can be trusted to know but if you went up 49 levels with max endurance it shouldn't matter much as the best endurance item is a drop in the bucket at that point.

This game up recently enough you should find it unless I was on some random game forum doe to my hand not working so great and thus links mysteriously get clicked other places that don't have the a helpful you are now leaving nerd news ( made up eg ) so you should be able to find both answers right here.

So I understand it correctly that I only need Endurance while leveling up and when he is Level 50 I can give him something with Strength, Agility or Luck instead?

One note specifically for explorers - Endurance 11 (with clothing, obviously) provides immunity to radiation damage in some circumstances. I think that is just rad damage that happens on the "event scroll", but it is something to consider if your explorers are turning around due to damage rather than full inventory.

That's true. Good point I forgot to mention. Higher than 10 endurance greatly reduces amount of radiation damage they take over time. So, yeah....they can stay out there a long time without worrying they're going to croak, Ribbit, lol.

Somehow I forgot about the Radiation Immunity👍
Explains why he didn't even need a single Stimpack while he still had a low Level. They wait way too long before they take Rad Away which just unnecessaryli increases the Use of Stimpacks so I'll probably give my favorite Characters at least a small Endurance Bonus even at the highest Level from now on.
I assume though they would still take Radiation Damage on Quests, while fighting Creatures in the Vault and from too low Water Consumption? (If not, you could make a proper Ghoul Vault or Children of Atom Vault :D)
Wish they would've made a proper Ghoul Race in Fallout Shelter instead of them just being normal optically different Humans

Yes, quests are a bit different story. Most likely cuz you're there managing them so the game allows them taking more damage.....to include radiation. But, it does help. If you have 3 quester's with varying endurance stats, you'll see the lower ones taking more radiation damage. But, with quests, they kind of throw in 'boss' level monsters. I don't believe they do that for the normal wasteland wanderers? At least, I've not noticed it happening. I'm not sure about that high difficulty mode though.

I'm tired atm reading throw the thread (maybe someone already replied the answer) but you want max out endurance ( for me I just level up all stats as it goes fast with timezone glitch) before sending out too wasteland, equip with +7 endurance gear. That will give you 644hp when you hit level50. Compare if you sending without endurance gear will become only 252HP.

Thanks for linking it here. My Question was already answered but now I know that I should also train Perception. I think the List I've found a few Years ago didn't mention everything from this one
