will pregnant dwellers still give birth if they're assigned to a room?
i desperately need dwellers for medbay

Pregnant dwellers still work.....just like irl...they just will not defend when monsters attack. They'll run away to an available residence.

They certainly do. If you have several dwellers on baby boom duty, and have a room to train dweller intelligence, you should be able to up-skill a few to do well in the med-bay :)
