Why it's such incredibly hard to get legendary characters?
I've played one archive for more than 80 hours and opened countless lunchboxes. However, I only get one golden character and it's from a quest in game, not from lunchbox!!! I really don't know what's wrong with this game. It seems like I can never get the last trophy unlocked. It's so annoying!!
Please, has anyone met this same problem before? And how do you solve this?

It's hard because it's a free to play game. They want you to buy lunchboxes. You can get one legendary from the starter pack. If you don't want to pay its a slow grind. Only tip I can give is that make sure you have no dwelers waiting in front of your vault when you open your lunchboxes.

oh my god!! so you mean, even if I have only one dweller waiting outside the door, my chance of getting legendary dweller would be greatly reduced? Oh, I got people waiting outside of the door all the time........Fxck....

And sometimes it's not possible to get all of them on one vault. there are reddit posts related to this rng.

Same problem here, seems like I am going to get a full vault before I get one legendary dweller. I even turned off the radio broadcasts after 100 people in my vault. Two Wes Englunds and not a damn storyline Fallout character.

fine, then, this game totally ruins my fantasy of getting all achievements unlocked in all my games. Not bad :)

I don't think they need to be in the same vault, if you care that much then you could make multiple vaults. Sadly at 195 people I've had 2/20 legendary people for the achievement, think I may be ignoring that one lol

I just opened 100 lunchboxes that I got from missions etc. and first gave me Eulogy Jones. After that, only "blue" dwellers about 30-40 of them.

nay, I gave up, it's too time consuming!!!!

If you set your time in settings ahead 7 days you will get a lunchbox from the 7 day rewards and you can just do that over and over agein. I have been playing for 3 days and I have 66 dwellers, 4 sets of power armor, 3 rocket launchers, and 7 legendary dwellers from this hack. I've opened 153 lunchboxes in total.

that's what I did to forward my dweller training. I get some lunch boxes, but I still couldn't get legendary dwellers from lunchbox.

on other posts people have said that dwellers who have had their stats trained to a high lvl have a chance at legendary babies. I don't use any hacks so it's taking a while but I almost have a few dwellers maxed out. If nobody else gets back about this I'll post later if it works.

I believe the legendary babies mean babies with high SPECIAL that is comparable to that of legendary dwellers. But they couldn't unlock the collection I suppose.

That does not contribute to the "legendary" dweller cheevo.
