Best Dwellers for quests
So I found out that dwellers with high agility have a higher attack rate. Do any other parts of s.p.e.c.i.a.l effect how dwellers fight?

Strength seems to affect damage, and endurance seems to affect health. Endurance does affect how much rad damage a dweller will take, with endurances of 11+ taking no rad damage at all. Precision will affect the speed of the critical hit crosshairs. The higher the precision, the slower they move, making it easier to score a perfect crit. I don't luck affects dwellers on quests.

Keep in mind that Special will have different affects whilst exploring. For instance, Precision seems to make it more likely that encounters will occur for xp, and strength will make it more likely the dweller will win a hostile encounter. Endurance again affects rad damage. Luck making it more likely that loot will be found.

If you say so. I have dwellers that definantly do more damage than others of the same level with the same weaponry. The only difference is a signifcantly higher strength rating.

You can make a test if you want - two dwellers with same stats and weapons, except 1 STR vs 10 STR(maybe +7 STR from gear) and then send them on quest. You won't notice statistic difference, already been discussed before and another dude tried it. Even with melee weapons.

Truth here is that strenght affect the fork distribution. So if you use guns which have like say 15 to 25 damage you'll notice a huge difference with higher str guys who get higher damage shots more often. If you use guns which are 25 to 26 damage you'll pretty much never notice a difference.
