why new vegas isn't in the game?

i mean why there is litteraly no new vegas characters easter eggs or weapons outfits in the game because new vegas created by obsidian and not by bethesda? the game would have a really big comeback if they would like to put in (putyin) mission like when you can choose between NCR or the legion and then the next mission is completly different depend on your choice's. and iam not talking about the game shoould be much different because the new vegas stuffs and ♥♥♥♥ iam just saying we need a little twist int the game its start quite boring after 4-5 hours (played it on my mobile and then transfered my save files) it would be weet to if we have random events like: finding the mysterious stranger it have around i dont know 4-3 mission and the end u can get the coat and the revolver (which the stranger have) thank you for take your time reading this and let me know in the comments what u think about this (P.S:soory for bad english iam from hungary)

Basically, Fallout Shelter setting is on the East Coats of US (Commonwealth Wasteland), while New Vegas is across the whole country, in former Nevada.

They allude to it with various things like the stranger gambling sounds and free coins but yeah, it's a different company and I'm sure there are rights issues. Not that they couldn't work those out and have an expansion, that would be a surefire way to get some more attention for the game. It's been languishing the last year or so. With Westworld coming out on mobile people will surely forget all about this ;)

They have characters from the show. technically this is just for advertising but it makes this a bit confusing.

Bethesda still owns New Vegas, if that theory were the case it’s weird that they added a reference to fallout BOS in one of the dialogs in a quest. It’s actually incredibly strange why New Vegas is ignored in fallout shelter.
