Missing Pet?

I have Sphynx as found (Wasteland Return Speed)
I have Bastet as found (Wasteland Return Speed)

But when i look through my Vault and with every dweller no one has Sphynx, and i have yet to lose a Dweller, i have bought the Starter pack also.

Anyone else notice this?

Is one more rare? I unlocked Duke but it also says I unlocked his lesser-part which is the same look but less stat number than the one i unlocked, however the lesser one is not in my vault because I don't really have him. I find it a bit stupid to do that

i've noticed missing pets as well, but only the picture is missing in the character screen, the pets name & stats are shown in the box (and sometimes the equipped pet isn't in the same room as the owner).

Do any of your dwellers have pets at all? There appear to be a number of bugs related to pets in this game, including buying the starter pack but not actually getting the pets (for some people). One of my vault saves had the pet popup get blocked by another screen and now I can't get pets at all, so I had to go back to my previous vault.

I know this is kinda necro but I just want to go on record and explain what I think is happening here. Since this is the discussion that pops up when you search on google, I figured I'd share what I believe to be the explanation.

I'm assuming you got Bastet with the starter pack like I did. Bastet is a legendary pet. Legendary pets have names. The ones that aren't legendary just say their breed. Bastet is a sphynx which is also in the game in it's less rare form. When you got Bastet, you also go a sphynx. Thus, you unlocked both. No missing pets, just double unlocks.

Hope this relieved a couple headaches.

I did get a pet that gave +7 dmg in a mission, but now i realized i don't have it anymore.... Never sold it... I got it in an event quest with Irish people or idk what
