Happiness seems stuck at 10%?
I’ve reviewed what can make a dweller happy or unhappy, and nothing seems to apply.. I had a short period this morning where I accepted a few new people into my vault (getting close to 200 now) and their food got low, so I made some new cola plants and was back in business. I come on later and a Lot of my dwellers are suddenly at 10% happiness. Most of them are leveling stats, but that usually causes them to be at 75%, since they’re healthy but bored. Seems like a bug, but I’ve never had it affect so many at once before! My total happiness was 80-90%, and it suddenly dropped to near 60%.

U need a radio station. Only people with C-lvl 10

I have two radio rations with around five dwellers between them, each with very high charisma. They boost the entire vault’s happiness by a bit, but these 10% happiness dwellers seem unaffected. I checked this morning any they’re still very unhappy..

Sometimes moving them to a more fitting job gives them a boost

Doesn’t apply here, since most all of my people are in training rooms, which they hate equally. Still, it only ever drops them to about 75%, not 10%. I’m still investigating, but really can’t tell what’s got them so upset.

put them in a work room water or power will do, make sure they are all maxed luck, then rush the room. successful room rushing automatically increases happyness. its risky, but my entire vault which does have 200 people is at 91 percent. hope this helps ;)

I think the bug went away by itself, but I haven’t been looking for it. The trouble was that most of the upset dwellers were still in training. At any given time I have about 84 dwellers in training, and once they’re done I send them into the wasteland in +5 or +7 Endurance gear. They return within a week and if they’re still wearing the armor I sent them out in, they’re given a rating regarding their HP and a number. So far I have about 30 dwellers who used +5 Endurance gear and 20 who have max health. They come and go just slow enough for me to manufacture plasma riffles for everyone.

If they level up by accident they’re likely in +3 E gear, and that puts them on the early chopping block, which I try to avoid, even if they are happier momentarily. If they level up without gear or with inconsistent gear I give them a D rating, which in this case means death. Near instant banishment from my vault.
