3 Radroaches Wiped Out My Entire Vault Of 22 People
This has to be a bug. Right?

Looks like the trashcan roach made it into fallout shelter.
(Early FO4 players will get the joke)

if you get any guns or send one of the members out to search the bad lands , issue any guns to your crew you find, it helps alot, or if you only have one or two of them dont give them out, and when the roches come, click on the member in the room and give them the guns, then drag others in to help fight,

That's the thing, almost all of them had guns and some armor. Only one roach died.

If your S scores are crap, you aren't going to hurt the roaches, and if your E scores are crap, they'll kill you faster. I try to make sure everyone is armed at least with a shotgun in production stations.

As far as combat inside tha vault goes, the only SPECIAL that matters is E.

@OP
You haven't exactly given us much to go on. Assuming you know how to play, Radroaches shouldn't be killing off your vault. Since 1 died, doesn't sound like it was the invulnerable bug.

I wouldnt call myself an expert but i do know how to play. Most of the che characters had okay-ish endurance, 2 even had power armor. Not sure if i'm missing something or not...

I have observed that enemy health does indeed drop faster if your Strength is higher on that specific combatant. Inside and outside the vault.

It does sound odd yeah, even with fists he should have been able to kill off a few radroaches without too much trouble. I haven't let the radroach events run long, do they start multiplying like the Molerats?

Well what do we know from the OP. 3 Radroaches killed off a vault of 22 dwellers. 1 roach died, so not a bug. Not much to go on.

The likely explanation is the OP upgraded rooms without the HP, weapons and a stims stockpile to deal with the enemies that would spawn. Might even be playing on survival.

Your observations are faulty. S has no bearing on the combat inside the vault.

With everything else being equal, a vault with 6 dwellers with 10E 10P in a water production defending kill at the same speed as another vault that has 6 dwellers with 10E 10S in a power room defending.

That would do it, the deeper/more rooms the stronger the baddies.

Just going to start a new game. I would assume it is because of upgraded rooms. Thanks for the help. I didnt know upgrading rooms increased enemy difficulty.

Only a little, it's mostly based on how deep you are.

The enemies that attack from the vault door are based on the average level of your dwellers. The ones that spawn inside tha vault (including fire) is based on the size and upgrade level of the vault room. Might find this helpful reading.

Upgrading rooms increases difficulty. Depth has NO bearing on enemy strength.
Stop giving out false information if you dont know what you are talking about.

Power armour is not actual armour. It is just a visual thing.
What you need to look at is the stats the outfits give you. You want high E outfits when leveling up your dwellers. And whatever stat your rooms have, equip dwellers with the same stat.
