I have the same issue since a while and I can't start it
Nope, sorry. I have submitted a ticket to Bethesda. I tried using the Bethesda Launcher to start the game and I got the same error so it's 100% not just a Steam problem.
I found the solution on this Unity Forum https://forum.unity.com/threads/unity-2018-2-7f1-windows-standalone-crash-on-first-run-unityplayer-dll-caused-an-access-violation.556585/
I followed pawfessor-fluff's comment regarding uninstalling the Citrix Indirect Display Adapter through device manager and now both games are working perfectly.
I can also confirm that I successfully logged on to my work pc from home just after uninstalling that component so it seems that (at least for me) it's not a vital component.
Hope this helps guys :)
EDIT: This does work however if you restart your computer you need to uninstall the Citrix Indirect Display Adapter again. My internet died last night so I couldn't confirm this but it was confirmed this morning ....
Same here - no Critix installed, computer freezes each time i try run unity game. Updating drivers didn't help.
Uninstalling Citrix related stuff worked for me...
That would be great but I have to have Citrix for work :/ ...
