National Guard Depot

Hello !
At 60 hours of exploring the wastelands, there is the National Guard Depot event that (may/will ?) appear.
I've read that 4 years ago, it has been nerfed and doesn't drop any legendary at all.
Is it still true ?

60 hours of exploring the wastlands. That's difficult, My dwellers dont last a week until they have so much stuff they have gathered they return back.

From now, I sent only 2 types of dwellers that I leveled up max to 10 endurance (and other stats lvld up) with : both +7 endurance armor, and one with the destabilizer (18-23 dmg gun) and a green mean monster (17+ dmg plasma rifle) and they always returned safely, told them to return back to vault after something like 2 days and 12 hours exploring (I aim to get them lvl50 only for now).
If you get too much low grade stuff before getting far into the wasteland (exceeding their 100 items capacity), isn't it because you equip them pets that makes them get more stuff in the wastelands ?
