Really still) no Mac OS version?

I have a macbook and planning to buy a second hand game pc as soon as possible mostly because there is no mac version of fallout 4 and i would love to play that! I can understand they aren't making a heavy 3d game like fallout 4 for a mac...

But seriously? Of course mac's are bad for gaming but i am pretty sure they could handle a 2d game with a requirement for 2gb ram... But then why can they create a IOS game but not a mac version? I am not the mobile gamer although i have played fallout shelter, and i am not a programmer so i can't say or it is hard or not, but if iOS is doable, than a mac shouldn't be as much harder.

have you tried WINE? that's how folks on Linux play this game. (i'm not sure there is proton support for macOS yet, if there is, you could try that instead)

Also, iOS devices and Macs use diferrent processor architectures, so it is not that simple.
