Feral Ghoul attacks one after another
I am getting only Feral Ghoul attacks now, it sucks since they do radiation poisonning and damge to everyone while not even attacking that character and the most annoying you don't get anytihng from them, when they die contrary to raiders.
43 Dwellers with level 36 max, with Vault max and Radio.

well, that happens sometimes, not sure if a bug or whatnot.
i once had 5 deathclaw attacks in a row, which ate quite some stimpaks, tho they never managed to reach the second floor.

not sure If this will help or not -- but I found that If on your top floor, right after the Vault Entrance, and usually that 1st elevator room -- make a Water Room (either of the 2 varieties) any Ghouls coming in just drop -- never seen any confirmation or sites Listed on the phenomenon- but it seems that Water Rooms (purification systems maybe?) melt Ghouls apparently -- I got Lucky building that way my 1st Vault and It works for me

^hmm.. interesting
i've been building power rooms in there (since Str supposedly boosts dmg), i'll try that "trick" when the time comes to re-organize my vault.

I usually place a couple of high level dwellers armed with serious firepower at the vault door. They then shoot up any attackers, be they Ghouls, Deathclaws or Raiders, and do extensive damage to them before they reach any of the other rooms, making repelling them much easier.

As Keedor mentioned, put 2 high level and high trained dwellers with decent armour to entrance, best both endurance leveled to 10 (they dont or nearly dont get radiation damage then).
Arm one with a Rocketthrower, best a fat man, the other with a good flamethrower or another high damage weapon.
If possible additionally give them pets adding damage or hitpoints/damage resistance.
The first thing I do when I can build trainingrooms is leveling up my doorguards. You can have them trained really well before reaching 60 dwellers.
No ghoul or raider will make it through your entrance then anymore (have about 110 dwellers now in my biggest vault, dont see a reason to get much more, so dont think ghouls get much harder anymore, but dont know) , only deathclaws will have a chance to break through.
If you build a storage room next to entrance instead of a facillity, you can fill it with your best dwellers, while the entrance guards are fighting and then also deathclaw attacs wont be a big problem anymore.
Replace this Storageroom with a Nuca Cola Facillity when you reach 100 dwellers, fill it with your well equiped endurance 10 dwellers (dont forget the rocket throwers), and all your problems from outside the vault will be gone, besides you will produce a nice amount of food and water with them and you will level them to Max Level this way automatically additionally.
One more thing, dont underestimate meelee weapons ... if strength is high, they are really good. Trying to get a good mix of (diffrent range) weapons in a room is also not the worst idea.
