http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Seventh_Inning_Stretch
I have trouble with this quest.
The radscorpin boss is killing my team one by one with one special hit (the full healthy ones). One hit kilsl one team member. Is it ok ?
The dwellers arent trained well but its first time i see that one hapenning.
Its ok till i encounter the boss.

Probably not.But if this quest is the most difficult from all you have done then it is logical that you encounter the most difficult boss you ever encounter. And there are harder enemies to finally get the Jose Altuve Jersey. You must train your dwellers endurance before levelling up(if you can)to stand a chance and to get the most hp.

its the hardest boss type in game. not because its a hard hitter, but rediate you also. so before it hits, you need to use radawaay+stimpack. (and keep an eye for other members for their hp and no pause button unfortunately)
side note. saving critical hits to this boss is a must. i generally dont use critical shots on regular monsters. i keep them for bosses, allways.

(tip for beginners who also reads this post:also need to focus fire on it. click other dweller and without release move cursor on boss. it will shoot the boss, not a monster next to him/her)

like Dennis suggested, sending a poperly levelled ,with max endurace, team is mandatory.

Sometimes the quests in the the game are harsh and extreme to kill someone just for a lunch or a mitt,or for bottle and cappy or even more for a jersey, the Jose Altuve Jersey.Yes It is a very important and unique jersey but the punishment for the thief is extreme.I always tried first to get the unique outfits(the detective outfit, one of the horseman of the Apocalypse outfits and ofcourse the Jose Altuve jersey)and then wearing those unique outfits finish the other quests.

I didn't find this one too terrible. For me, it was one where the giant radscorpion lives in the first room. :-o No chance to build up criticals--just fight. The good news was that the radscorpion was focused on only one dweller, so I just had to hover over her and keep smamming stims. It took seven to get her through the fight, but after that, the level wasn't so bad.

dennisalex - I'm sure Altuve will be flattered that the jersey has been renamed in his honor. ;-)

:) you lucky. imagine. you spent more than half of your stimpack. to the 2 alpha deathclaw. and face this radscorpion boss in a lvl50 quest. some quests are hectic. bcz you wont expect one after 2 bosses. i finish that map, with no stimpack left and half hp pool. (with team of e17 dweller). gun were not good though. and crits werent hit properly. after that this "rad boss" means danger for me.

You dont actually have to wear the outfit that give +7 endurance to quests.Just use them when you level up to get the max hp.In quests use outfits to help them be better fighter(adding strength, perception, agility, luck or some of them especially strength and luck). Is like you send your dwellers undefended wearing the +7 endurance outfit.

OK, thx.
Is Dragon's Maw good for this quest ?
Do different types of weapons are good for different enemies or it doesnt matter, just pure firepower ?
dennisalex Jan 28, 2018 @ 4:01am
No.Not good for any quest(unless of course for the low level one).Just one blast, not powerful one,on one enemy, wait and then the next.Best weapons are the fatman, especially MIRV.Three of them and you destroy even the mightiest of bosses.Just the blows they made, after a little while are tiresome, but tolerable and you will end a quest, even a 50 level quest in no time. The second best weapon are the laser gutling guns(if i am not mistaken)and the best of their type "vengeance".Multiple shoots that continue to the next enemie when the first is gone and fast. The fatmans are a liiiitle slow but not much.So finally you can take (if you can three MIRV, or high level fatman, oor two MIRV and a vengence (to close the gaps between the MIRV shots)).You can
either blow them to pieces with MIRV(first choice)or you can spice the choice with a vengeance(or two,or three, that works very good also).Try if you can all those choices and pick your best but more fatman/MIRV the better. And i change the name of Rackie Jobinson jersey to Jose Altuve to see the reactions.

Go here if you don't understand how Endurance and leveling works.

https://github.com/therabidsquirel/The-Fallout-Shelter-FAQ/wiki

The hardest part in this game is avoiding accidental leveling. I blame the UI for that. Also being patient on expanding and the looooong road in training. I only use Nuka Cola for training. I used to use it for getting to and from quests faster, but the training is what really takes a long time.

The hardest part now is getting E7 outfit. I cant keep L1 dweller forever.

Another question is - what armor should i craft ? Getting recipe for it is another pain.

Put your dwellers in the living quarters, storage rooms, radio rooms, guards in the vault entrance, trainin rooms, item crafting rooms, not food, water, power rooms. The problem is how long you get them to wait there without producing water, food and power. For the pc players just tamper with the pc timer and set it two days or more later from the real time and everything that needs time to be completed are done. Then put the time back to the real time and do it again when you have new time-related actions. To produce water, food, power just put some dwellers you found in lunchboxes of some level because they need a lot of time to get to the next level and they are fairly certain that the will level up by themselves doing all that.I hope you understand what i am saying.Just do it.Nothing bad will happen.Maybe it will solve a lot of problems especially the time related. If you are lucky to find some outfit that boost endurance use it to finally level up your dwellers but first train your endurance for them all before you level up.Then you can put them safely to the production rooms.

i have better idea for dwellers whose are needed as lvl-1

simply send to the wasteland and immidiately call back. that way, they become like tourist inside your vault. not attached to any room. (this means they cant die to accidents or monsters. also they wont take any level bcz they dont work.)

before i obtain a e7 outfit. i was allready finished more than 40 dweller to the full 10 stats training. and around +40 were in training to complete full 10 stats. that way i could stockpile them and keep them in lvl-1. (in last survival vault i have e7 outfit as one of last 4.)

Yes you can left your dwellers wander in the vault on a coffee break, but when you want them you have to search the whole vault for them but you can put them in a room where they dont level up and find them immediately.Thats the only objection i have to the whole idea. The only stat that you have to max out is endurance. The rest of them just raise them to 2 (all of them) and then put them to any room you want(production room). They wiil all be the same.Have you tried my time-idea exploit? This is not cheating or mod.The only dwellers that you must max out to all of the stats are the three that you send all the time and the same ones to quests. And they better be men because they can find and use more usually than women. That is just the game not sexism.

Oh please... most of the male only outfits have a female only equivalent outfit. And for quest dwellers, the only real stats that matter are perception, agility, & luck. Those are covered by the merc gear (all rarities), the female only Surgeon outfit, and Piper's outfit (female only).

As for tackling tough quests, someone leveled from 1-50 with endurance 10+5 will have nearly as many HP as someone with 10+7 (only 49 less). If you only have one dweller leveled with the absolutely maximum HP, give them a melee weapon. If you have them target an enemy they aren't currently facing, they will swap out with the dweller who is. Thereby getting the enemy to focus on the dweller with the most HP.

I build Tunnel Snakes for males and Piper's Outfits for females.

Per Rabid Squirrel's FAQ:
https://github.com/therabidsquirel/The-Fallout-Shelter-FAQ/wiki/10.-The-Wasteland#101

To summarize outfit really doesn't matter in survival so long as a dweller can survive the trip. In normal though a focus on ECL is good for legendary junk (with charisma not really adding much past 10), so outfits that focus on endurance and luck are good. If a dweller has low SPIA and maxed ECL the following is good:

Lucky Formal Wear > Detective Outfit (not craftable, can only get 1) > Heavy Wasteland Gear > Sheriff's Duster > T-60f Power Armor > Piper's Outfit ...

If a dweller has all max SPECIAL though, the following is good:

Tunnel Snake's Outfit > Eulogy Jones' Suit > Heavy Wasteland Gear > Tenpenny's Suit > Piper's Outfit > Abraham's Relaxedwear > Lucky Formal Wear > Lucky Nightwear ...
