Fallout shelter crashing on start Windows 10
My game is constantly crashing when i try to load my vault. I've already backed-up my save so how do i get it to start working again?

It only crashes while loading my main save, i made a new vault and it started fine

Download fsse (fallout shelter save editor), load your broken vault, in the last tab are a few fixes that will probably solve your issue

same happens to me today. only my highest level vault wont load.
I cant find a save editor to download.
did you get better instructions?

How do i load the vault? by dragging into the edit box? which file? trying to load my game crashes the program. I can start another vault and it will load from the same menu. But my mail game of 300+ hours is gone.

Mine crashed all the time so I stopped playing. But I found out that if you select your PC's task manager and end all Steam tasks still open, and afterwards try launching the game, it works fine.

^just be aware that vaults suddenly not loading or going missing is a common issue with this cheap port of a game
