Fallout Shelter
Cheating random acts of god.
I put around 70 hours into the android version only for the game to kill off everyone just because it wanted to. It unleashed a Radroach infestation. This wasn't a random event. It did it three times to me on three separate playthroughs. No matter what I did and no matter what resource or weapon I used it killed everyone.

That totally killed the game for me. Have they patch that cheap, cheating, unfair, time wasting S**T! out the game?

If you have ~70 hours, the game might think you're OP and start pulling the really high LV attacks.

It happened to me on three different playthoughs. The RadRoachs just kill everyone no matter how heavily armed they are. This cheap act of god destroys all the time you put into it by cheating you. It a nasty feature that turned me off the game. I was hoping they patch it out. If I have the resources, people and the weapons, I should be able to withstand any situation. The game kills you off because it chooses to. It's a cheap cheat!

If you get attacked by radroaches or molerats in a room that is far away from your dwellers and you cant send armed dwellers to them before they multiply to the point they attack more rooms then it is probably game over. This is just unlucky to get those attacks to a very distant room, but usually they attack near or at a room with dwellers.Again if it is very early in the game and you haven't enough weapons then maybe there its game over. And it is not bug ,just luck. And dont try many rushing. It is very difficult to have for every room that did not require dwellers(training, radio, storage, overseer, barber, crafting items),someone near ,to get to that room quickly. You just hope to find weapons quickly and the attacks happen where dwellers exist.Even with cheats when those monsters attack its very probable that game is over.

Did anyone already suggest keeping all of your women pregnant?

The mistake here was you, not the game. There are incidents based on population. Control your impulse to grow a huge population as fast as you can, i.e. learn to pace yourself.

Best wiki is this one....

The easy answer is make a layout where there are some empty floors between the rooms that are almost always empty(Overseer, Storage, Living Quarters, spare power buffer room, etc). Incidents won't propagate to the occupied rooms. Also, these separated floors act as buffers to incidents, that is they have chance of absorbing a lot of the incidents.

Finally, incidents don't propagate diagonally, so early on you might want to stagger or zig zag rooms for awhile. If an incident occurs, no need to fight it, just move the dwellers out.

Radscorpions are actually very easy if you prepared for them before hitting that population mark (see link above).

Pregnant women cannot help with fights. They just run away screaming. This make it difficult to find enough dwellers to stand a fight. Then we must be lucky early on the game when we have not many weapons to win an attack. If an attack happens early then maybe game over. But eventually we will need to increase the popullation if we want to built the advanced rooms. At least all the training rooms.

That's why you: 1. keep your population under 35 till everyone is armed (when MoleRats are unlocked) & 2. don't have too many pregnant women in the vault at one time (and don't have more than one assigned to a room).

Someone at a post above writes that we get all the women pregnant
Romeo Deluxe Jan 9, 2018 @ 4:18pm
Early on pregnant women are the best defence, they are "invincible".

Once again, you do not have to fight incidents. Just move the dwellers out of that room until it's over.

There is no luck, just knowing enough about the game and planning ahead. Old screen shot, this isn't my favorite layout anymore, but it gets the point across. Not sure you are reading the information I posted so it's picture time....

this just happened to me, vault was created les sthan 48 hours ago, i have 7 rooms, the roaches killed over half my people :(

poop
-make sure you have rooms fully occupied before you build more to insure a good defense.
It will keep you guarded and slow your expansion to a reasonable lvl. (increasing room level also increases attacks)

other than that just always have someone exploring to find weapons,I usually send someone out till they die then revive and return them, no damage on return trip.
