also fast healing, fast rad healing wont work too.
for quests, best pets are: (in my opinion) +damage, +health, +%damage rezistence. (lvl 50 quests bosses are hard hitters. so health and damage rezist works best than damage pet there)
also in general "faster return speed" is good when you return.
tip: while fighting, you can swap pets. so whichever dweller fights with boss give that dweller health or damage rezist pets while fighting. (max health bonus is 100%. and max damage rezist is 50% so basically they give same bonus.)
That's what I was suspecting, but I have so many pets that give wasteland bonuses, it seemed like a shame not to send them with people on quests.
and you can send only 3 team to the quests. (less needs to those hp and rezist pets). i use +damage pets at vault door and 1st room. (deathclaws cant pass to the 2nd room if you damage well at door)
my personal preference to send as many dweller to the wasteland. they collect junk. and random encounters sometimes gives launchbox or pet carriers. so win win i guess.
But it's going to be awhile before I can send that many people out.
I'm currently saving up money so I can rearange rooms. I'm trying to move resource rooms deeper, so I can safely install robots to help. Currently I have on resource room per level (on the left), and training rooms on the right, and storage room in the bottom right
seperating them as you suggest mean's one handy per one room (and you can pay to revive him same as dwellers except, you have to wait till he dies to heal him). Also, if you group the training area's it simplifies moving the trained dwellers around.
