Power armors, how can you get those?

I’m not far into the game, I have 7 floors and 28 dwellers, but I was wondering, how do you get power armors? I read on the wiki that there are three different types of power armor so I’m wondering how you get them. I’ve seen some guys on a quest with power armors on, but of course, I didn’t attack them. I had sent one guy with a rusty shotgun so I stood no chance, I just talked nicely to them so I’m guessing there’s one source, but that can’t be the only one.

Power armor is overrated. It doesn't protect you from damage. All it does it give bonuses to different stats. There are plenty of other outfits that give a better mix of bonuses.

Yeah I did some research again and the stats are garbage, I have an outfit called ‘autumns coat’ or something like that which is way better

Most of my dwellers have on baseball outfit, since they gives OP stats bonus. Legendary baseball outfit

I got 2 from lunchboxes yesterday, short time after I started playing this game. guess its like every other item, lunchboxes, exploring maybe, etc

You can craft power armor outfits in the outfit workshop room later on, or acquire them via quest-clue found purple carded quests. There is a good chance that a level 50 requirement daily quest - outfit run, could have a power armor outfit as a reward. Power armor in this game isn't actually armor, it looks cool but only boosts Strength, Perception and Endurance stats with a mix/match of how much of a bonus for one SPECIAL attribute. X-01 power armor mark VI is ideal for a middle-man endurance boosting outfit of +5 Endurance, if you can't get Heavy Wasteland Gear yet and could use the perception bonus.

I got a power armor once and it just gave me 5+ Perception. Power aromor looks cool but there are way outfits that are better than power armors.

The vault 33 quests in the end give good power armor
