Two Preston Garveys?

So I rescued Legendary Preston Garvey during a mission. A few hours later, he arrives at my vault door. He has a lunchbox on him. I open the lunchbox: ANOTHER Legendary Preston Garvey.

Their stats are identical. Only the level is different; one is level 22, the other level 27.

What makes this doubly-weird is that in one day I ALREADY received another Legendary dweller. So after 100+ hours of gametime and nothing, I now have THREE new Legendary dwellers (although two of them are the same.)

See my screenshots for proof. Has this ever happened to anybody else? And does it happen regularly when you reach higher levels of gametime? Double Legendary dwellers?

I've only found 2 legendary dwellers total, must have about 10 wes englunds from the wasteland now tho lol...

Ha! yes Wes shows up at my Vault too about once a week. I check him for any good gear and then give him the boot!

Well, to be plain the game gives a f.... if u already have a specific legendary dweller or not. u can swarm u vault with several copys of the same.
biggest problem with them and the other guys u get from Cards is they count as the same for familie purpose.
got it onetimes that i want to use one of the guys from a card with a wrestling outfit for breeding purpose.got another of this with another first name but same last name with a wrestling outfit too before. want to pair a daughter of the first with the new second one and surprise: "Its nice to spend time with familie"

It's common to have the same legendary dwellers, because what you get from lunchbox is random. Lvl 22 is better than Lvl 27 because if you can train his 'E' in time, he will have more HP when he levels up. You also find the achivement like '20 legendary dwellers'. This achievement doesn't care whether it is the same or not, only 20 in record(seems if you abondoned some of them, you still have it).

Nothing special, really common to have multiple of same legendary. Preston is easy, since you always get him from a quest, so easy to double up with a lucky lunchbox.

If you put them both in one room, they will keep asking/informing each other about settlement needing help and cause a tear in the fabric of space a time.
