How important are the S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats?
I was playing this game and looking at the forms when I realized that luck gives you a cap bonus, endurance slows radiation poisoning, and agility makes you attack faster. This all made me what other obvious things have I been missing? Like what do the other stats do?

Short version, Endurance helps boost max HP each times a dweller levels up. So once you can build endurance training rooms you should try to train up every dweller to 10 endurance. Even if they aren't going to leave the vault, their higher HP will help them deal with emergencies in the vault.

every stat helps in exploration, only end(for hp gain/lvl), luck, and prim stat matters in vault.

Inside the Vault -- certain rooms need certain stats -- End for Radscorps -- Luck apparently Increases the success of rushes -- also If say, in a Power Room you have 6 dwellers with 3 str each vs a room with 6 Dwellers with 5 str each, those rooms will generate faster and rush fail % will be Lower

Outside the Vault, I believe it goes something Like this --

Strength- more Damage
Perception - get this one- higher Percep slows that crit hit targeting WAY Down -- get X5 all time
Endurance- more HP per Level, but also Less Damage
Charisma- not sure does anything..... but you'll Look so Pretty !!
Intelligence- also not sure, but I've heard it ups the chance for certain found Items
Agility- get to attack sooner
Luck- believe it pops up the Critical Hit Target more often

hope this clears some up -- anyone else feel free to add or correct me If I'm mistaken

The above is a quote from : https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/223904/what-does-each-special-stat-in-fallout-shelter-do

I do not believe strength increase capacity as item max is set at 100.
I also believe charisma gives optional dialogue choices.

Yeap, those have false bits as well, stackexhange is not a reliable source. That FAQ is the most reliable thing for FS.

No, dialogues are fixed.

Though I have found no hard information on strength and weapons, you have to ask if a weapon with a spread damage rating is RNG based or Strength based. Most melee weapons have a spread damage rating, missle launchers and some guns have the same spread damage rating.
You apparently believe that those are RNG based, in liu of any other information I have to believe thay are strength based as strong dwellers would have less recoil and better control of the weapon for targeting.
Strictly speculative.

Those stats are tied also to VAT's and discussed in that thread.

The intelligence, till you show me something in print from Bethesda that says different, I have to agree / believe.
Iceira Aug 2, 2017 @ 1:12pm
the str/damage with weapons info is actual told doing startup loading screen as hints

...and the Earth is flat. All you have to do is look at a map as proof.~
DrDoomNGloom Aug 2, 2017 @ 8:59pm
Does one have relevance to the other??

You come out and state a common falacy. Because point b is true you would like to imply point a is true, you seem to support the stance point b is true, but it has no relevance to my original stance.

So once again the earth is flat but untill you provide a link to written evidence to support your flase claim I stand on my original position.

Your quite welcome Iceria.

It really does not matter, by all means don't train your dwellers in intelligence as it is an un necessarry SPECIAL sklil

well then you have a problem with quest intelligence level7(and level 50) is needed on many of them, and i think you could be in trouble if you only can send the hospital/science center dwella to quest.
i will rather have my 1 to 3 team do them. ( with high endurence and other stats )

...said nobody ever that has a clue how to play this game.

Do you even think before you post or is it your 'thing' to post one stupid statement after another?

Sure, don't train INT. While your at it, don't bother to make meds or rads either. Might as well skip those quests that have a min INT requirement too. Idiot.

Iceira, the statement about not training you dwellers in intellignece was facetious. I cross train my dwellers to max stat across the board.

The other gentelman making a fool of himself, it was said for his benefit and to mock him.
He made some extremely stupid statements, I was just making one to match.

By all means please train all vault crew and wasteland dwellers to max stats for all purposes.
