Can't redeem complimentary lunch box

I see the box in my gift menu, but when I click it, there isn't an option to send to game. It didn't automatically send it either.

I received an email with a promotion code for a free lunch box.
Where do I enter the code?

from the steam icon on your PC, click Store to open the Steam client, go to the Menu and click Games > Activate (or Redeem)

Thank you very much that helped. I got the email as a promotion to get me to play the game. Great marketing strategy cause I am now hooked.
